Course to be offered Third Quarter 2008-09.
Students will explore, analyze, and discuss film history, movie technology, and the cultural context of cinema by the decades 1900/10s – 1970s. Short response writings, respectful film viewing, participation in full-class discussions, and a research project presentation will be required.
Students should expect to do research project homework for a final project.
